75th NATIONAL LITURGICAL WEEK from August 25 to 28 in Naples, Italy
It will be the Church of Naples that will host the 75th National Liturgical Week in the Jubilee Year 2025. The announcement was made by Claudio Maniago, Archbishop of Catanzaro, president of the Center for Liturgical Action (CAL), at the conclusion of the recent meetings held in Modena.
The invitation for Naples was extended to all participants and pastoral liturgy workers in Italy by Auxiliary Bishop Gaetano Castello, who, on behalf of the Archbishop of Naples, Domenico Battaglia, stated that the celebration of the CAL Liturgical Week in the Archdiocese of Naples, from August 25 to 28, 2025, "can only bring good, contributing to further pastoral and spiritual growth."

THE STATISTICS OF THE CHURCH: the number of Catholics is growing worldwide
The Pontifical Yearbook 2021 and the Annuarium Statisticum Ecclesiae 2019 were published in March. According to the data reported, the number of Catholics in the world increased to an amount of 1,345 million. The statistical data, referring to 2018 and 2019, show that the number of Catholics increased in Africa, Asia, Oceania and in the Americas. On the other hand, Europe mark a slight decline compared to the population that has an almost zero trend.
