Planned conservation of Cultural Heritage

Restauro in Quota® is a service by Formento, a company with over 60 years of experience in architectural restoration. It was created to provide a concrete solution to the needs that listed and protected buildings have in terms of regular maintenance, which is a guarantee of the preservation of cultural heritage. This service has been designed mainly as a way to support public and private entities, the owners and/or managers of architectural structures of artistic, historical or cultural interest, who are tasked with protecting, preserving and promoting the cultural heritage sites in their possession.
These entities (offices of Italy’s MiC, municipalities, dioceses, foundations, public administrations, etc.) have the honour of maintaining the properties that they own and/or manage, thereby preventing their decay.
However, these activities are often complicated to plan and carry out because the areas to be monitored are vast (e.g., roofing on large monuments) and difficult to access (e.g., towers), but also due to the lack of the necessary funds.
Formento therefore deemed it important and necessary to train its restorers, specialised operators and qualified technicians as necessary, so that they could manage temporary procedures at height. The result is maintenance and restoration that’s simpler and more practicable.
