Vending Machines and Multibox Lockers
Renato Ghislandi's interview, Administrator of Mistral Service Sas
What does your company do and what distinguishes it?
Mistral Service is an Italian company that designs, manufactures, and markets vending machines and intelligent H24 sales and service systems. What sets us apart is that we do not sell simple machines, but turnkey projects designed to generate real economic value for those who manage them.
Our strength lies in our consultative approach: we analyze the context, target audience, location, and the client’s objective, and we build tailored solutions that are robust, technological, and focused on long-term profitability.
Our flagship products are:
- SpeedyShop, advanced vending machines for selling gadgets, souvenirs, useful products, and services for travelers and pilgrims
- Locker Multibox, patented modular smart locker systems for collection, storage, sales, and H24 services
- Vertical solutions dedicated to tourism, shrines, religious routes, hospitality facilities, and high-traffic locations
Will you be presenting new products at DEVOTIO 2026? If so, can you give us a preview?
Yes, DEVOTIO 2026 will be a turning point for us. We will present a dedicated “Souvenir & Traveler” line, specifically designed for:
- shrines
- religious routes
- pilgrimage destinations
- museums and information points
We are talking about intelligent vending machines and lockers that offer gadgets, religious items, practical souvenirs, and services for pilgrims in an organized, modern, and sustainable way… and above all the Locker City Hub dedicated to micro-mobility. A concrete evolution of the concept of hospitality.
What are your expectations for DEVOTIO 2026?
For us, DEVOTIO 2026 is a place for dialogue, not just exhibition. We expect to meet institutions, congregations, foundations, and operators who have a modern vision of flow management and service delivery.
We are not looking for quick, one-off contacts, but serious partnerships based on planning, economic sustainability, and respect for the locations involved. DEVOTIO is the right context to talk about the future, not improvised solutions
Digital, e-commerce, and ereligio.com: what role do they play in the sector?
Today, digital is not an option; it is an opportunity multiplier. In our sector, it impacts everything: payments, management, communication, and the end-user experience. We already integrate advanced digital systems, QR codes, apps, and telemetry. We are familiar with the ereligio.com platform and believe that tools of this kind can be useful if integrated into a concrete strategy, not used merely as a showcase.
Digital, yes—but supported by a clear business model.
Environment and sustainability: what does it mean to you?
For us, sustainability means doing things that last over time, not just declaring it. It means:
- robust and long-lasting machines
- waste reduction
- consumption optimization
- local and H24 sales without permanent on-site staff
Your personal experience: what led you into this sector?
I have been working in the vending sector for over 15 years. I have always been fascinated by the idea of combining technology, autonomy, and service. What motivates me every day is anticipating needs, not chasing them. My typical day? Salesperson, technician, strategist, and problem solver… often all in the same day. It’s demanding, but that’s exactly what makes the job stimulating.
An anecdote or an unforgettable moment?
One of the most meaningful moments was when a client, months after installation, told me: “I didn’t think a vending machine could change the way I work so much.” That’s when you realize you didn’t sell a machine, but an idea that works. And that is exactly why I continue doing this job.
