SACRED ART IN CHURCHES - Rome (Italy) October 27-30, 2025
Exhibition_Rome, October 27–30 – Conference_Rome, October 28
From October 27 to 30 the Pontificia Università della Santa Croce in Rome will host the works of “APPROCHING PATHS OF CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS FACING THE CHRISTIAN MISTERY”. This project is supported by DEVOTIO and coordinated by p. Andrea Dall’Asta s.j. and Claudia Manenti. It involves young artists with a good contemporary ability and it tries to fill the communication gap between art and faith, a gap that was created during the previous century.
In addition, on October 28 at 3:30 p.m., there will be a conference entitled “SACRED ART IN CHURCHES”, which aims to analyze the current distance between art and ecclesiastical patronage. It will explore the possibilities for a rapprochement that could benefit both the ecclesial community and the world of art.
The conference will be held in Italian.
