Can you briefly introduce us your company and your production?
DOLFI è un’azienda storica della Val Gardena, specializzata nella scultura in legno di alta qualità. Da generazioni realizziamo statue sacre, presepi e articoli religiosi secondo la tradizione gardenese, unendo lavorazione artigianale, competenza artistica e attenzione ai dettagli. La nostra produzione spazia da grandi statue per chiese, santuari e spazi liturgici, fino a collezioni più piccole pensate per negozi religiosi e librerie, mantenendo sempre un elevato standard qualitativo e un forte valore artistico e spirituale.

How do you assess the current situation and future prospects of the Italian market for religious articles?
Il mercato italiano degli articoli religiosi sta attraversando una fase di trasformazione. Da un lato notiamo una domanda sempre più selettiva e attenta alla qualità, all’autenticità e al valore simbolico delle opere; dall’altro, chiese e comunità cercano soluzioni che uniscano tradizione, sobrietà ed equilibrio nei costi. Riteniamo che il futuro del settore sia legato a prodotti ben progettati, coerenti con la spiritualità contemporanea ma fedeli alla tradizione, capaci di distinguersi nettamente dalla produzione industriale standardizzata.

The fifth edition of Devotio is approaching. What do you expect from this fair?
Devotio represents a very important event for us, both as an opportunity to meet qualified professionals in the sector and as a moment for discussion about the future of sacred art. We expect a professional audience interested in products with substance and quality, and we believe that this fifth edition confirms Devotio as a point of reference for the religious world in Italy and abroad.

Will you be presenting anything new at “Devotio 2026”? What might that be?
Yes, at Devotio 2026 we will present several news. In particular, new medium- to large-sized statues of saints, designed for churches, parishes, and religious communities, with a more essential formal language while remaining deeply respectful of the iconographic tradition. There will also be new collections of small-sized saints, specifically developed for religious shops and retail outlets, ideal both for domestic worship and as objects of personal devotion. Finally, we will present an expansion of our offering aimed at making sacred art accessible to different contexts, without ever compromising on sculptural quality and artisanal care. These new releases reflect our desire to respond to current market needs while keeping the spiritual value of the work at the center.
