Exhibitors Interview 2024

Ecumenicus
high quality fabrics

Sergio Secchi’s interview, owner.

Can you briefly introduce us your company and your production?

The Ecumenicus company produces and markets sacred articles and clothing on fabric made on a loom using an artisanal weaving process. The designs are made with the help of sophisticated softwares and with the reconstructive intervention, strictly by hand, of skilled designers; the fabrics are then finished in the company's tailoring workshop. Our exclusive production, which is exclusively Made in Italy, includes sacred vestments, wall and processional banners, and tapestries in different sizes; these are items designed for every important moment of Christian life, made with great care but at a reasonable price. Each type of vestment, banner and tapestry can be customized according to the customer's instructions or chosen from the wide range of images available. How do you consider the current situation of the religious articles market?

Despite previous times of crisis in the markets, we are confident in the consistency that the religious sector has always maintained, and also thanks to events like Devotio we are confident of an increasingly positive future.

The fourth edition of "Devotio" is around the corner: what do you expect from this exhibition?

We have been exhibitors since the first edition and as every year we will be pleased to welcome our loyal customers, who regularly come to visit us, and to welcome new customers who we will be attracted by our special production.

Will you bring some novelties to “Devotio 2024”? Which ones?

During this edition we will present new fabrics for chasubles and new models, but we will be also pleased to present items depicting the Jubilee 2025 Logo, of which we are official licensees. In addition, in collaboration with the Bernareggi Foundation of Bergamo and thanks to the space granted by Devotio, we will present items made for the "Seven Works of Mercy" Exhibition from the original by artist Andrea Mastrovito.
