The Beato Angelico School, founded in Milan in 1921 by Monsignor Giuseppe Polvara, remains one of the most interesting and prolific initiatives in the relationship between the Church and the Arts.
For almost a hundred years, the School, made up of a religious family, has been involved in the construction of churches, carried out liturgical adaptations in existing churches, and has created alters, paintings, frescoes, mosaics and objects of worship across Italy and abroad.
The School in particular, first an Art Institute then High School, has trained generations of students from a professional, human and Christian perspective, creating artists, architects, designers, photographers and professionals in the world of journalism, publishing, trade and research.
The School manage and publish the lavishinternational journal of Art History and liturgical arts “Arte Cristiana”.
