Paolo Fattore, born of an artist family, is the art director of the Ars Studio. Since 1948, his father Albino, an artist of the old stamp, took an interesting in the marvelous artisan tradition of the 18^th century Neapolitan crib.

Paolo Fattore does not only make cribs, but he even restores old shepherds. The Ars Studio he runs makes shepherds for cribs, taking inspiration from the 17^th century Neapolitan tradition and taking care even of their clothes, very accurate in details and sewn by hand in old fabrics brocades and laces. These shepherds, in a size from 20 to 60 cm have terra cotta heads, glass eyes, wood polycrome, hands and feet painted in oils. Their bodies are made of mannequins in iron wire, coated with to the Ars Studio can also make whole cribs in all size.
